Barack Obama
Barack Obama is a well-made song. He starts out in dorm rooms, an underappreciated gem shared amongst friends — the verses and choruses of his speeches force us to pause and imagine. Humming along, the Voices of Hope spread the gospel, and soon the country can do nothing but embrace the sweet melody of "Yes, we can." His words sing and pierce straight through to our hearts. Like a great song, his unrelenting rhythm provides the cadence for our heartbeats to find each other and keep in time. "Obama! Obama!" is the chant that echoes throughout the land. His presence is grandiose, but when you least expect it, he whispers in your ear, "I see a world of possibilities... and you are there with me." Sing true and sing loudly, Mr. Obama. We are listening.
